This hotel was awesome I immediately feel in love with the solid wood architecture and the stone decor. The hotel decor was amazing!! it felt like a big custom built Mansion. The cushion seating area in the hallways next to the windows was my favorite. The hallways were decorated nicely our room was amazing. It smelled so clean and refreshing this suite had a full fridge, microwave dishwasher sink and dishware. The balcony was clean, private and the view was good. Our room was clean and relaxing the only issue was the lighted magnifying mirror light was out. I would give this hotel a 10 out of 10 because of the beautiful wood and warm elegant decorations.

Christmas Eve night there was a fire drill with the temperature outside being 7 degrees. None of the staff ever came to let us know to re-enter the building. The guests took it upon ourselves to re enter. Christmas morning my husband and I were stranded in the elevator for over 45 minutes. None of the staff ever showed up, didnt answer any of our calls. We ended up crawling out of the elevator and went to front desk to inform the staff. They had no idea we were stuck in the elevator. Poor customer service, poor communication. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever.

The staff was so nice. The AC in my room wasn't working, and they were so oncerned and responsive in getting it fixed. They food in the hotel cafe is delicious....you can't go wrong with the appetizers and dinner entrees. Tyrone, the bartender, is awesome. It's a good stay!!!

I arrived to an out-of-date looking building that had roads blocked off right near the entrance. Instantly I was concerned. Upon arriving, I was given my room key and was told to use the elevators near the rear entrance, because my room was on the 4th floor. Used the elevators indicated and quickly discovered that I had to lug my bags to the other side of the hotel. By this point, I was annoyed, even if they did give me warm cookies upon arrival. I entered my room to find trash, an unmade bed, and towels on the floor. Clearly the room had not been cleaned. I had to lug my bags back downstairs to try and get a new room. I was informed they were out of king sized rooms, so they nicely upgraded my room. I was told that there was a restaurant and bar downstairs. I checked it out and it was more of a lounge where the staff may choose to serve you if they are in the room and not in the back room. I was not impressed. The gym is basic but provides enough equipment to have an adequate workout, even if the space is small. My bathroom sounded like it was about to take off for flight when I turned the light on and there was no way to turn off the fan. Finally, the heat kept turning on and even though there is an individual thermostat in the room. I would set the thermostat to 68 and come back into the room once I got hot to find that it was 73 in the room. Overall, I would not recommend. The price point is not worth it when there are a number of other hotels in the area that I would assume are much better.

Our 1st room (255) had sticky entry door, noisy bathroom fan, hairs in shower and a sink that barely drained. Our 2nd room had no problems, as guests expect. Front desk and breakfast room folks very friendly and helpful. Great location.
